The Symposium, hosted by Quanta Technology, will be a forum for the participants to discuss state-of-the-art innovations in generation, transmission, distribution, and innovative smart grid technologies. Grid of the Future™ 2024 will feature plenary sessions, technical paper sessions, and tutorials by international experts. Quanta Technology Knowledge Sharing Webinar: Utility and Data Center Loads: Challenges and Solutions This webinar will provide perspective from Dominion Energy, the utility serving the largest concentration of data center loads in the world. Dominion will provide an overview of the challenges in serving the recent and expected exponential growth in data center loads. Dominion will also share their perspective on potential process changes that could address the current generation and transmission infrastructure challenges. Quanta Technology experts will present project examples from other US utilities related to the nuances of data center load forecasting and a second recent example of a collaborative approach between utility and data center to accelerate the interconnection timeline.
