KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Plan, establish, and manage various utility projects and serve as a liaison between the different stakeholders.
- Align projects within utility standards and expectations, construct detailed schedules and plan, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across a stakeholder audience by providing program and project level reports using project management tools.
- Support clients with building project management framework, setting up PMOs, processes, process maps, KPIs and tools to improve project execution and delivery.
- Manage and lead business process improvement projects for the utility clients to improve efficiency, increase visibility on their processes and resources and optimize their performance.
- Perform change management process related to the implementation of improvement plans.
- Actively manage and coordinate project tasks, interfaces, and deliverables.
- Coordinate work effort between all dependent departments, groups, teams, and tasks.
- Develop and apply uniform standards/processes for all aspects of project life cycle.
- Develop budgets and tracking against company financial systems, processes and procedures, scope, and change management required by the program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Project Management or related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related Project Management position within the Oil & Gas, Utilities, Construction, or Engineering Procurement and Construction industry.
- 7 years of experience using project management tools MS Project and Primavera.
- 5 years of experience with process improvement for project and business processes including initiatives, gap analysis, and root cause analysis.
- 5 years of experience with change management, process optimization and management of deliverables.
- Experience with Program and project planning, budgeting, and cost control.
- Agile and scrum experience.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification required.

- National and international travel required 25% of the time
