WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Quanta Technology is seeking a professional thinker/doer with leadership potential and a background in power engineering, urban planning, or economics to augment our growing team of professionals who help electric utilities, governments, and large electric power users get the most benefit from our nation’s electric grid and advise them on how to expand and evolve it to meet future needs. Spatial load forecasting – the estimation of expected future demand for electric power on a geographic or locational basis throughout a city, town, agrarian region or rural area in order to guide planners and policy makers in expanding electric system capability – is a cross-discipline endeavor involving elements of engineering, economics and urban planning, and we are casting a wide net looking for a person with a background in any of those or allied fields who will best fit and help drive our growing team. Work ethic and a team-first attitude, personal gravitas, and above average communications and creativity skills are more important than specific technical background. The successful candidate will work alongside the industry experts in this high growth field and be encouraged and supported to become a recognized “guru.”
