POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Project Management Office on projects for utility industry clients. They will leverage reporting tools to organize and plan complex projects while supporting process development and implementation. This is a multi-faceted role in the Project Management Office with focus on data analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions
- Analyze key metrics data to help leaders make informed business decisions.
- Create and update processes, systems, and workflows needed
- Develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes
- Design and implement project management related process improvements
- Run internal and external weekly/monthly reports and dashboards
- Support Operations with day-to-day project management tasks – reports, project schedules, budgets, resource management, tool setup and maintenance
- Familiar with AI tools and use cases
TRAVEL
Occasional travel to client sites.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or another related discipline
SKILLS
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Project management capabilities
- Organized and focused
- Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with commonly used project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, spreadsheets, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in data science, engineering, economics, or another related field with emphasis on data analysis
- 2 years of relevant work experience in the electric utility industry
- Credible project management certification (such as CAPM)
SKILLS
- Knowledge of other programming languages like Python, VBI, etc. a plus
LOCATION
We offer remote and hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work may require overnight national and international travel.
