POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior/Lead ERP Support Administrator will play a crucial role in the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of the organization’s SOX applications and databases. This position ensures the smooth operation, high performance, and integrity of critical financial systems, including those for accounting, banking, trading, and reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the daily operation of SOX applications and databases to ensure reliable and efficient functioning. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Degree in Electrical Engineering or another related field: Bachelors with 4+ years of experience Masters with 2+ years of experience Doctorate with 1+ years of experience Experience conducting technical studies including resource planning, grid resilience, transmission planning, and generation interconnection with ISO, Utilities, or consulting firms. Proven track record of technical excellence including published reports or papers. SKILLS & SOFTWARE Familiarity with power system models and tools such as PLEXOS, GridView, PROMOD, Aurora, PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, Aspen, PSCAD, and/or MATLAB RTO/ISO market pricing structures and processes Proficiency in Excel Excellent communication, presentation, reporting, teamwork, and facilitation skills Aptitude for critical and analytical thinking as well as the capacity to accept out-of-the-box solutions. Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate with clients at engineering and management levels. Ability and interest to learn new skills on the job. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Experience in a professional consulting or electric utility environment 4 years of conducting technical studies including resource planning, transmission planning, and generation interconnection with ISO, Utilities, or consulting firms. Experience and proficiency in regulatory requirements and compliance methodologies for NERC standards including TPL, MOD, and CIP. SKILLS & SOFTWARE Expertise with PLEXOS, GridView, PROMOD, Aurora, PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, TARA, Aspen, PSCAD, and/or MATLAB Expertise in Excel Strong written and oral communication skills LOCATION This is a remote position for individuals located in California. Quanta Technology has offices in Raleigh, NC, Markham, ON, Lombard, IL, Concord, CA, and San Clemente, CA. We offer hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a professional office environment. Work may require overnight national and international travel.
