POSITION OVERVIEW
The Energy Efficiency / Demand Response Consultant is responsible for consulting with our customers on energy efficiency projects/programs for electric, water, and natural gas energy. This position leads the development, promotion, and implementation of energy efficiency programs to meet our customer’s established goals. The Energy Efficiency / Demand Response Consultant will work closely with and learn from Quanta Technology’s team of industry-leading advisors and technical experts as they provide Energy Efficiency / Demand Response solutions that are not only technically robust but also practical to implement. With an approach to creating and leveraging customer satisfaction, long-term relationships, and best-in-class methodology, our team supports clients and long-term partners in solving the toughest challenges facing the industry today.
This is a critical Energy Efficiency / Demand Response position within Quanta Technology and is reserved for people with the passion to build an Energy Efficiency / Demand Response practice that addresses the challenges of the Electrical Grid, conserve water and gas, and improves the Customer service Utilities provide their customer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Practice Development / Expansion – Sales & Business Development activities to grow the practice meeting booking and revenue targets
Industry Participation / Recognition – Promote Quanta Technology’s Energy Efficiency / Demand Response expertise including electrification, distributed energy, demand response, and energy efficiency experience
- Develop multiple points of contact and relationships with energy efficiency, sustainability, and demand management partners to build eco-system to drive energy efficiency/ demand response strategic initiatives and project development for our customers
- Leverage existing client contacts to grow all Quanta Technology Practices
- Present individual and overall, Quanta Technology competencies and offerings to customers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Leadership and Technical expertise in the utility industry as demonstrated by previous experience, projects, involvement in technical societies, and/or patents
- Degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field
- 5+ years of experience with
- Utility operations
- Energy Efficiency / Demand Response
- Electrical Power Systems or Water / Gas Distribution Systems
- Business Development
- Practice development

LOCATION
Quanta Technology has offices in Raleigh, NC, Markham, ON, Lombard, IL, and San Clemente, CA. We offer remote and hybrid employment that supports a blend of in-office and remote work.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for a professional office environment. Work may require overnight national and international travel.
