Amin Zamani

Amin Zamani, Senior Advisor, Renewables & Microgrids, has more than 10 years of industrial and academic work experience in North America and elsewhere. Amin specializes in power system protection and control, modelling and analysis of power system dynamics/transients, integration of distributed energy resources, and application of emerging technologies. In recent years, Amin has been involved in several industrial/utility projects focusing on utility-scale energy storage integration, real-time testing of P&C equipment, system impact studies of renewable energy penetration in utility grids, and advanced distribution protection and automation design/evaluation. Amin is a Senior Member of IEEE, an IEEE PSRC member, and a professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
