Amin Zamani, Senior Director, Advanced Technology Integration, has over ten years of industrial and academic work experience. Amin specializes in power system protection and control, modeling and analyzing power system dynamics and transients, integrating distributed energy resources (DER), and applying emerging technologies. In recent years, Amin has been involved in utility and industrial projects, focusing on utility-scale energy storage integration, real-time testing of protection and control (P&C) equipment, system impact studies of renewable energy penetration in utility grids, and advanced distribution protection and automation design and evaluation. Amin is a Senior Member of IEEE, an IEEE PSRC member, and a professional engineer in the province of Ontario.
