Ralph Masiello Industry Advisor
Ralph Masiello, PhD, Industry Advisor, provides support to our partners in the areas of wholesale market analysis and system performance, energy storage, distributed energy resources, and strategic planning. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering where he worked on the very early applications of modern control and estimation theory to electric power systems and the developments of the first state estimators for Transmission operations. Ralph also led the teams that developed the first utility dispatcher training simulators and he led the organization that developed the early commercial ISO systems for market and reliability operations.
