Manuel Atanacio

Manuel Atanacio, Executive Advisor, Enterprise Integration & Smart Grid, has over 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, with twelve (12) years of utility experience in electric system operations and management of bulk transmission system networks, bulk power generation, distribution systems, Energy Management Systems and SCADA systems. Fourteen (14) years of experience in Electric Power and Market Operations consulting. Three years as Vice President, Control Center Consulting and Systems Engineering. In this role, Manuel was responsible for customer account management, business development, team management and management consulting. He also led the start-up, development and integration of a transmission control center services practice for UISOL. Had direct supervision of a team of full-time, part-time and contracting project engineers (10 HC). In this role, Manuel provided subject matter expertise and leadership for utility client projects. Services were provided to small industrial facility operators, generation and transmission control center operators and users, leveraging the team’s well-established industry expertise in the field of system integration.
