Dave Takach

David Takach, Executive Advisor, Transmission, has 42 years of experience in power systems, from equipment design to analysis. Mr. Takach’s background includes extensive involvement in developing IEEE standards and, as a utility employee, directing Electrical Utility funded research and development both with EPRI and with various universities in the Missouri/Illinois area. He is currently responsible performing various power system analytical studies for the electric utility industry, including power system stability and electromagnetic transient analysis.
