Abdlmnam Abdlrahem

Abdlmnam Abdlrahem, Senior Engineer, Protection and Control, specializes in power system dynamics and modeling. Abdlmnam has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University.  During his PhD, he worked on different projects including: the impact of integrating large amount of solar PV on the frequency stability using Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS), modeling one stage Solar PV using PSCAD and designing a fixed-order robust controller to damp low frequencies oscillations in modern power system. Abdlmnam has worked as a protection Engineer with General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) for almost two years. With Quanta Technology, Abdlmnam has worked on short circuit validation project.
