The Transmission & Regulatory group is looking for a junior-level power system engineer to join its dynamic consulting team across North America – US and Canada. The candidate will work with senior-level engineers to collectively work and meet project objectives. The role requires performing power network modeling and analyses based on knowledge and expertise in power generation and transmission principles. The engineer is expected to contribute towards the successful completion of a range of consulting projects focused on power system planning studies involving Power System Economics, Market Analysis, Market Intelligence, Steady-State, Short Circuit and Dynamic Stability, Generator and Renewables Interconnections.

This position will lead a technical team that builds models, performs system studies, and verifies design with the use of hardware-in-the-loop testing of P&C systems in the laboratory environment for distributed energy solutions and microgrids. The successful candidate will be accountable for conceptual and primary design, modeling, analysis, and laboratory testing of Distributed Energy Systems including microgrids, energy storage-based systems for non-wire alternatives, captive power plants, and grid automation applications.
